You seem to have confused one rule for the set up : it is "On the first 2 Figure Spaces above the Stage, each player places 2 stacks of 2 Figure tiles, regardless of their visible side" and not 2 figure tiles per player. You were lucky your game wasn't broken by that. ;-). (Benoit Turpin (co-designer))

You may want to re-read the rules. You can't moce the same explorer more than once per turn.

Pretty sure you need to remove specifically the third ninja. You now only have two slots. I was also confused about whether I can play a card AND an action. The game is very simple, but the rules have a few such vague areas.

My favorite game so far Unstable Unicorns made is Casting Shadows. The gameplay is so unique and changes like crazy. And 4 player games get nuts!

Can you play this on mobile phones with multiple people or do you need the board and a tablet?

Came to your channel for the command of nature video but have also been going back and forth about getting war for arrakis now it has gone to retail. Its a big investment but im a mega Dune fan having got every other Dune board game out there. Watching this playthrough has helped me to make up my mind to take the plunge on this in the near future so thanks again

Feats of savagery at the camp, can you activate as many as you want in one turn as long as you have enough tokens? Like I can drop 3 savagery tokens on the three levels of +1 dice and the third upgrade for another +3 for a total of 5 extra dice?

I've a quick question regarding the named Leader. The rule book is saying "Place all Named Leader cards marked as ‘in play at the start of the game’ faceup on the Action boxes matching their Action symbols." Does it mean that they stack, as there are a few marked as ‘in play at the start of the game’ ?

Spice must flow track, every dice the Harkonnen loses is massive for that player.

On the family atomics, they are deployed right at the end of the movie, so having it at the end is thematic.

At 16:31 the Harkonen side took off 2 special elites and put down 1 regular against 5 hits. Did I see that wrong? Do special elites downgrade to elites?

It's surprisingly thinky. I wasn't expecting to be so tough to choose for how few actions you have

Hummm the targeting from the leviathan is supposed to be done when the card is flipped, before you play. Then you play, then the attack is done at the targeted zone done before player turn.

Why is Thufir Hawat on the Harkonnen side? Wasnt he an Atredies Mentat?

Hey guys! I watched your playthrough this morning and loved it, that was lots of fun! Everything was perfect rules-wise except end game scoring (oh, I'm one of the co-designers of Skyrise btw). When doing scoring step 5 in Era 2, "Score Structures", in your play you just added the values of the columns that your discs reached on your player boards... for example Blue you scored 4 + 3 + 4 + 2 = 13. The rule is actually that this value is multiplied by the number of builds you have on each colour of neighborhood. For example, for Blue you have 4 points PER BUILD on yellow, and you had 3 builds on yellow neighborhoods so you'd get 12 points there. Green: 4 builds at 3 pts each for 12. White: 3 builds at 4 pts each for 12. Brown: 4 builds at 2 pts each for 8. Just for the sake of bragging rights, your recalculated scores would have been Yellow=142 and Blue=124, so it didn't effect the winner in this one but you also might have played a bit differently too. Anyways, very fun video and thanks for backing Skyrise!
